Technical Support - Occupational Health & Safety Studies

About the Role - We are currently looking for a self-motivated Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineer graduate to join our Occupational Health & Safety Studies department. The Technical Support Specialist will contribute to the development and project implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) studies for our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits to client facilities for OSH data collection which will be used in the development of emergency evacuation plans and occupational risk assessments
  • Contribute to the development of small-scale OSH studies.
  • Liaise effectively with clients and partners, offering professional support and information via email and/or telephone
  • Maintain and update ERP systems (Soft1)
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (ISO)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering
  • Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation and related regulations will be considered an asset
  • Experience using ERP systems will be considered an asset

Skillset:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficient in English
